Injection‑Molding Process Parameters

Drying Treatment Normally not required Extremely low moisture absorption (<0.01%). No drying required under good storage. If package damaged or under high‑humidity environment, dry at 60‑70°C for 1‑2 hours as precaution.
Melt Processing Temperature 170‑190 °C Specific reference value; general HDPE range 180‑230°C is also available for reference.
Mold Temperature 30‑70 °C Mold temperature greatly affects crystallization. Higher mold temperature brings higher crystallinity and strength together with larger shrinkage.
Injection Pressure 70‑100 MPa Relatively high melt viscosity for HDPE; sufficient injection pressure is required for full cavity filling.
Holding Pressure 40%‑60% of injection pressure Avoid excessive holding pressure and long holding time to reduce internal stress.
Screw Speed Medium speed Prevent excessive shear‑induced heat accumulation.
